I’ve heard bits of Nettspend before and was never impressed; he falls into a similar lane as artists like OsamaSon and Nine Vicious. However, since I’ve never heard a full album or officially reviewed him, I figured I ought to take one full dose at least and go from there.

If you’ve seen my OsamaSon or Nine Vicious reviews, then you probably already know what I’m going to say: This is terrible. This specific sub-genre of hip-hop is one of the few I just can’t stand. The distorted audio and overblown effects ruin any semblance of a good beat that might have been there. Strictly speaking on production, it sounds like broken video game music at best.

Trust me, I wish the production were my biggest complaint. Nettspend delivers vocals and lyrics so bad that I actually get secondhand embarrassment while listening. It’s 2026, and he’s still using autotune and vocal effects like it’s 2009. But honestly, he probably needs them; his songwriting is so weak that listeners definitely need something else to latch onto. There are no songs worth highlighting here.

This was my first Nettspend album and likely my last, unless he drops during a week when I have absolutely nothing else to review. Given how backed up my schedule usually is, I don’t see that happening—which is no sweat off my back. This is a “love it or hate it” project. Either you’re into his sound and have deeper critiques, or you’re like me and think this is just total trash. Personally, I can’t recommend that anyone spend their time listening to this.
