Exploring the Chaos of Riff Raff’s Latest Album
Reviewed By: Marquis “Southside_Gunn” Harris

As a resident Riff Raff fan, (shut up) I was actually excited for this album. Was I impressed?? Slightly. So the best way I can describe this to you is that if you took someone who was able to just rap about the first thing that popped into their head, this is what you would get.
For the record, majority of the features were actually solid. E-40 was smooth, Conway dropped some bars. Xavier Wulf was dope as well. So Riff Raff is more of a “vibe” type rapper where he’ll get you going with a few punchlines every other verse but you can’t expect too much because he’ll also lean on his chorus’ to get him through a track.
The production as a little bit of everything. There’s a mix of some pop-country, Hip hop, techno, alternative… it’s essentially like trail mix, that you’d get from the dollar tree. The few examples of guitar rifts with Husky and ain’t giving up my truck are signs that he’s musically inclined if he actually tries.
There’s a little bit of everything but that also is the biggest problem with the project, and that is essentially, it’s all over the fucking place. Literally, there’s no need for country and alternative to be mixed in with techno hip hop… you’re overstimulating the listener and it’s not making the experience any better
