OsamaSon’s Energetic ‘Jump Out’ Album
Reviewed By: Malik the Villain

OsamaSon is an underground artist who I’ve been hearing about a lot lately, and I personally thought he was just another generic rip-off rapper with a style that has been done over and over again. Now, that part is kind of true, but I can say this project turned out to be decent. The beats, catchy hooks, and lyricism make this a very fun project to listen to. I really dig the heavy bass-boosted beats and the energetic approach on the songs. However, it can come off as oversaturated at times, and some songs can be skipped.
I’m not going to be naive and say this album is all original, as some songs sound very much like something Yeat, Ken Carson, or Destroy Lonely would make, and some are carried by the chords and synths that really don’t help as much. But just because of these things doesn’t take away from the fact that it’s an enjoyable project in some aspects. Songs like “Made Sum Plans,” “Break Da News,” “I Got The Fye,” and “Insta” are great tracks that can definitely be put into the rotation.
Overall, “Jump Out” showcases OsamaSon’s potential as an underground artist while also highlighting the challenges he faces in a saturated genre. While there are clear influences from more mainstream contemporary artists, the album manages to establish a somewhat unique identity through its energetic delivery and engaging production. The enjoyable moments often shine through, particularly on standout tracks that balance catchy hooks with clever wordplay, revealing glimpses of originality amid familiar sounds. If OsamaSon can continue to evolve and carve out a distinctive style, there’s potential for more innovative work in the future that could captivate a wider audience. For now, “Jump Out” serves as a solid entry point for those curious about the underground scene.
