Potential but lackluster

I wanna preface this first… I don’t think Luh Tyler is a bad rapper at all. Luh Tyler is still a teenager and his age and lack of life experience is what essentially holds him back from making great quality music. He has the potential to flourish in due time but it’s going to be work.
The album starts off with a banger, but then the album begins to trend downward with some typical run of the mill songs that we’ve heard in similar fashion before. Several of the tracks have some lackluster production that while clean, still lacks that overall entertainment factor to keep you engaged as a listener. The Rob49 feature was utterly pointless, and the album was 37 minutes long, the album didn’t feel that long. It felt pretty brisk in a sense.
Overall, Luh Tyler’s lack of versatility from a rapping and overall writing perspective is what doesn’t allow the project to flourish like it should. It has its moments with some catchy lines and catchy hooks but as an enter body of work, it’s very mundane.
It’s not a bad attempt for a younger artist and there is plenty of stuff to build on. If he applies his time correctly, he can use the foundation he has to mature and improve on his delivery. There are moments where he sounds as if he’s reciting his lyrics instead of performing them, and it gets boring. Luh Tyler does have awesome ad-libs and a solid rapping voice. It’s just that some of his delivery feels bland and effortless, and not effortless in a smooth way. In the sense that he just doesn’t care
