A Bold Showcase of Skill and Authenticity

I’d been seeing and catching Dialect Tre on some features over the last 6+ months, and then I noticed that Rabbit Season dropped with a few features that caught my eye, like Vic Spencer and Rufus Sims. After I downloaded it, the great producer ILL City recommended it, which sealed the deal for me—I was determined not to miss this project, and I’m glad I made that choice!
Rabbit Season is a great display of skill for Dialect Tre; her talent and content shine over some amazing production. She’s spitting real shit in every song—there’s no filler or room to fake anything. This isn’t a solo hunt; everyone here showed up and showed out. There are individual spotlight moments, shared tracks, and together, this is a top-tier project.
Some of my favorite songs are “NOW WHAT,” “CRY LIKE A BABY,” “WHY,” and “MOMENTS.” Every song here is good, but the production on these four tracks especially feels extra special. “NOW WHAT” features Dialect Tre and Vic Spencer laying down candid verses over a beautiful beat. “CRY LIKE A BABY” might be my favorite beat on the album, and Tre was kind enough to let Knucklez have a solo spotlight. “WHY,” featuring Rufus Sims, showcases the two talking that talk—one of the few tracks like that, and it’s great. Finally, “MOMENTS” has Dialect Tre going solo, holding it down for much of this album, and it delves into seizing the moments you can.
Dialect Tre has established herself as a top name among both female and male MCs alike. The women in Hip-Hop have a lot to say, and they are saying it. For those tired of the mainstream ladies in the game, dig a little deeper—there are roses, like Dialect Tre, budding up that are ready for you to tune into.
