WAY MO TRILL: Bun B Proves He’s Still Torching Tracks

Released: November 7, 2025
Admittedly, Cory Mo isn’t a name I was familiar with, even though I have for sure heard some of the tracks he’s produced. I did miss the original Mo Trill, but I’ve always been a huge Bun B fan, so when I saw this was coming and some of the features, I knew I had to check it out. And I wasn’t disappointed!
This starts off strong with “There He Go” featuring 8Ball & MJG and Jazzy Pha, then right into “Everywhere We Go” featuring Juicy J, Project Pat, and some posthumous Pimp C. The vibe switches up with “Better Believe It,” where both LaRussel and Bun bring the right uplifting energy for the track. Then “I Can’t Lie” gets into some playa sh*t that Monaleo and Scotty ATL delivered on for Bun B & Cory Mo.
“Can’t Stop The Hustle” goes crazy with Dro & Kyleon, two underrated spitters. “Down In The South” might be my least favorite song on this album; it’s just that autotuned hook doesn’t really do it for me. Which is funny because I don’t have the same complaint for the same style of hook on the next song, “Still Outside”—a song I like decently better, with a better beat, and a better hook. The last two songs end things on a calm note but are again some real chill tracks, especially “Put You On Game.” Straight blade talk.
Clearly, I’ve been missing out if Mo Trill was anything close to WAY MO TRILL. Every time I catch a Bun B album or feature, I’m thankful because Bun is one of my favorites to ever do it. He had me locked in for Trill and even II Trill back in the day, let alone the UGK catalog. It makes me super happy that in 2025 Bun B is still torching tracks like he never lost a step.
