Album Review – Curren$y – Everywhere You Look

Curren$y continues to glide at optimal altitude with another fly project.

Curren$y drops. I listen. That’s the deal we agreed to, and I’m sticking to it. Nah, but Spitta recently dropped his first project of 2026, Everywhere You Look. A heater in January for the Lifers. A quick 20 minutes—perfect for you to roll up, burn one, and press play.

As expected, this is packed with fly bars from Curren$y and smooth production from the likes of Trauma Tone and Kino Beats. These two have been lacing Spitta for a minute, and the way he blends into their beats never fails to hook and reel me in. Some of my favorite beats here are “Lose Them,” “Reef and Reefer,” and “Evasive Driving.” But it’s hard to go wrong with anything if you’re into Curren$y and that lifestyle rap sound.

Personally, I like that there are almost no features. “2Easy 2Ounces” has Wiz, which is always an enjoyable collab—Wiz spits a dope verse—but generally, I prefer solo Spitta. Most of my favorite tracks align with my favorite beats, but “2Easy 2Ounces” and “Cinema Drugs” are both worth mentioning too.

As a longtime Lifer, there’s nothing here I can complain about. Not too many songs are super standouts, but I’m not always looking for that—especially from this kind of rap. I’m looking for dope music to chill to, and that’s exactly what I got: smooth beats, smooth rhymes, and content to match. I’ll take these any day, like I’ve always said.

Standout Tracks: Lose Them, Reef and Reefer, Evasive Driving & Cinema Drug
