Q: Can you tell us about your background? Where did you grow up, and how has that influenced your music?
A: At a young age I was introduced to Transcendental Meditation and an abundance of music from multiple genres. That shaped my vibrational setting.
Q: What was your early introduction to music and hip-hop? Do you have any specific artists or experiences that inspired you?
A: Hip-Hop has always been a part of my culture. I can’t name a specific time of when I was introduced, it was always there.
Q: How would you describe your style and sound? What sets you apart from other artists?
A: I don’t think I truly discovered my sound until about three to four years ago. I would describe my sound as authentic, and what sets me apart is my unique perspective.
Q: What challenges have you faced as an independent artist in the hip-hop scene? How have you overcome them?
A: I’ve learned that the only way forward, is through discipline and dedication.
Q: What has been your proudest moment in your music career so far?
A: I’m always proud of the fact that I’ve thrown some successful shows in Philadelphia. And have given other artists a chance to perform.
Q: What are your goals for the future? Where do you see yourself in the next few years?
A: I just want to spread it to as many people who are willing to listen.
