Cassius Cam talks about how we evolve through the hardships we face, explaining the trials he’s survived in life and those he still deals with today. The beat is moody yet knocking, bringing the perfect backdrop for the topic at hand while delivering the right kind of drive to match Cam’s strong delivery. If you know Cassius Cam, this song is a great reflection of him as a person. It’s serious, yet it features witty and funny lines throughout. It pushes and motivates while presenting reality, all with the ultimate goal of uplifting the listener—all qualities that Cam carries himself with as a man.

Cassius Cam brings a strong flow and delivery, flipping rhymes without getting overly technical, which works perfectly for the theme and message he’s spitting. I really appreciate that Cassius Cam’s first song after a while away is so personal and deep. It’s not a surface-level track; he wants listeners to hear him, understand him, and fully tune in. I have a feeling this is only the start of Cassius Cam’s return, and I’m excited to see what’s next!
